Sometimes when you are soloing, it's easy to see the notes immediately surrounding you but it's hard to picture instantly a note that's farther away. In this video I show you how you can learn to visualize larger intervals on the fretboard.
The key is to always think relative to the key of the music and to notice the geometric shapes and lines that connect these notes. If you incorporate this awareness into your playing, your visualization skills will improve with every note you play because these relationships will become a natural part of the way you see the fretboard.
