Outside playing with Seven Worlds

Did you know that your Seven Worlds practice also gives you a foundation for making music with more advanced sounds? In this video I show you how you can use the exact same sounds that you're studying in Seven Worlds in a different way to create some of the exotic sounds of “outside playing”.

The key realization is that once you've learned to make music with the seven harmonic environments of the major scale, you actually carry all of these sounds with you all the time. So even the darkest sounds that you've discovered in the minor harmonic environments are also available to you in the major harmonic environments. This rich mix of sounds gives you an incredibly diverse palette of colors that you can use in all of your improvisations.
